I wonder if anyone actually looks at these blogs. As you can see, no one has made a comment unless I sent them an email telling them to look at it. We shall see. I will keep posting.

Pirate and Nature

Here is a photo of a small portion of the children's book section at Mountain Nature & Wild Bird Supply featuring "A Pirate's Quest". This is a continution of the award winning Carl Sams children's books. "A Pirate's Quest" was published by Carl R. Sams II, Photography, Inc. "A Pirate's Quest" is written by sister and brother, Laura Sams and Robert Sams. It is illustrated by Heiner Hertling. Other Carl H. Sams II books have won numorous awards including the Benjamin Franklin Award and/or the Indpendant Publisher Award and are favorite books of many teachers. Other Carl H. Sams II books you may recognize are, "Stranger in the Woods", "Lost in the Woods" and "First Snow in the Woods". These as well as others are available at Mountain Nature & Wild Bird Supply. Wild Birds, Art & Networking

This morning I woke up thinking it is time to quit belly-aching and get to promoting what I do. Here is a photo of what I have been doing this week. I started this week with this painting. Since completing it, I painted another of the same still life and have nearly completed third larger one. This one is an acrylic painted on an 11"x14" Artist Canvas Board by Winsor & Newton TM. The subject is a Thanksgiving Cactus grown by Jean (my wife). The painting shown may be yours for $35 plus $5 shipping and sales tax if appropriate to your state. It will be shipped from Georgia. The background of the photo is of Bluebird nestboxes we sell at Mountain Nature & Wild Bird Supply. This week I started painting in earnest again. The plan is to resume doing a painting a week, a continuation of several weeks worth of painting earlier this year.
